The high-tech option
Femto-LASIK surgery uses a tiny laser to make a precise corneal flap so your surgeon can reshape the cornea to address conditions like cataracts or more severe refractive issues. It’s ideal for people with thinner corneas because it is so precise. It offers faster healing with fewer por-operative side effects.
Procedure Time
The Femto-LASIK procedure typically takes around 10 to 15 minutes per eye. The actual laser reshaping process only lasts seconds, with our advanced technology ensuring precision and accuracy. You’ll be in and out of the clinic within two hours, including preparation and post-care.
Typical Results
Most patients experience noticeable vision improvement within 24 hours of their procedure. While individual results vary, the majority achieve 20/20 vision or better, reducing or eliminating their dependence on glasses and contacts. Your personalised treatment plan ensures the best possible outcome.
Recovery Time
Recovery is generally quick, with most patients returning to their normal activities within 24 to 48 hours. You may experience some dryness, a gritty feeling or some sensitivity to light, which can cause watery eyes. These symptoms usually subside within a few days as your eyes heal naturally, but you can take paracetamol to help.
