Dividing focal tasks between your eyes
Using brain power for clear vision.
If like many people 40+ you suffer from presbyopia, monovision refractive surgery may be the answer. Our surgeons can use lasers to correct the cornea of your dominant eye for distance and your non-dominant for near vision. And your brain will quickly learn to instantly choose the corrected eye for the type of vision you’re using.
One eye or two?
We’ll perform a thorough examination to determine whether monovision will work for you. The solution may be to correct one eye and leave the other untouched, and let your brain do the rest.
Experienced Surgeons and Advanced Technology
Our expertise in monovision prescription and procedure completion is second to none, and we use the most sophisticated state of the art laser technology to ensure extreme accuracy.
Comprehensive Support and Follow-Up Care
From your initial consultation to long-term follow-up, we’re with you every step of the way, providing comprehensive care to make sure your eye care journey is smooth and successful.

Procedure Time
The preparation time is short, and the LASERSIGHT surgery itself only takes a few seconds, so that you’ll be in the procedure room for less than 20 minutes per eye. And from pre-op to post-procedure care, you’ll be ready to be picked up within two hours.
Typical Results
It may take a few days or even weeks for your brain to adjust to the new arrangement, but you should notice a difference almost immediately.
Recovery Time
Recovery is generally quick, with most patients returning to their normal activities within 24 to 48 hours, although the full benefits may take some weeks to become apparent. You may experience some dryness, a gritty feeling or some sensitivity to light, which can cause watery eyes. These symptoms usually subside within a few days as your eyes heal naturally, but you can take paracetamol to help.
