Your Surgeons
Our surgeons consult across both Gold Coast clinics, so the specialist who assesses you is the same one performing your procedure. Dr Frank Howes, Dr Marc Wei, and Dr Brett Drury, bring decades of combined experience in laser vision correction and lens surgery to both locations. Meet your Gold Coast surgical team below.

What to expect
We know that visiting an eye clinic for the first time can feel like a big step. Here’s how we’ll guide you through every stage — from your first consultation to the day of your procedure.

Your first appointment is all about determining what your vision issues are, and how we can help you. We’ll conduct some initial testing and examination, and our medical team can then form an opinion and a recommendation.

We’ll let you know exactly what we plan to do, how long it will take, what the recovery will be like, and how much it will cost. We can also let you know if your private insurer will cover any of the cost, and if so, how much.

If you’re happy to proceed, we’ll make an appointment for the procedure. On the day we’ll provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, and the procedure itself will be carried out by a highly skilled and experienced surgeon.
